The Polish Football League keeps gaining momentum. This Saturday, April 25 at 13:00, Panthers Wrocław will host the undefeated Silesia Rebels Katowice at the Olympic Stadium.
The team from Katowice is currently one of the top contenders in the league. The Rebels opened the 2026 season with two wins, taking full advantage of their home field against Kraków Kings and Jaguars Kąty Wrocławskie. As in the previous season, their strength lies in a trio of key international players. On offense, quarterback Jeremiah Tucker and wide receiver Ryan Wakeling lead the way, while linebacker Sione Taufalele anchors the defense. The upcoming matchup will mark the Rebels’ first away game of the season and a serious challenge, as they face a young Panthers squad boosted by their recent victory.
“We are facing another important game against a demanding opponent in Silesia Rebels Katowice. They have been performing very well so far and you can clearly see a strong mix of experience and young talent. Their quarterback is in great form and the chemistry within their offense is very visible. It will be a tough game at the Olympic Stadium, so I encourage all fans to come and support our young team,” said Panthers Wrocław head coach Jakub Samel.
Panthers Wrocław are coming off an impressive performance last weekend, defeating Armia Poznań 35:7 at home. It was a dominant and convincing win from start to finish, giving the team confidence heading into the next phase of the season. This time, however, the challenge will be significantly tougher. The Rebels are a well-organized and experienced team that already proved their quality in Wrocław last season. Back then, it was the visitors who came out on top, making this game a perfect opportunity for the Panthers to respond and confirm their strong form in front of their home crowd.
“The game against the Rebels will definitely be a tough one. Defensively, they are at a similar level to the Eagles. They have a strong running game and a mobile quarterback who can also throw deep, which forces us to stay focused on every aspect of the game. We are preparing for a physical and demanding matchup,” added Panthers linebacker Tomasz Kiszka.
A Panthers Wrocław game is more than just competition on the field. It is a full sports entertainment experience filled with dynamic plays, big moments and an electric atmosphere in the stands. It is also a great opportunity for a family day out or to spend time with friends, with plenty of attractions for fans of all ages. First-time visitors can count on live commentary explaining the rules of the game, making it easy to follow the action.
