The grand finale of the home marathon in the PFL. Panthers Wrocław face Kraków Kings.

This Sunday, May 10, the final home game of the 2026 Polish Football League season for Panthers Wrocław will take place at the Olympic Stadium in Wrocław. The Wrocław team will face Kraków Kings, with kickoff scheduled for 13:00.

A key moment in the season

The matchup against Kraków Kings will conclude Panthers Wrocław’s run of four consecutive home games. This clash will be crucial for both teams in the race for a playoff spot. The Kings currently hold a 2–1 record. After opening the season with an away loss to Silesia Rebels Katowice, they quickly bounced back with a home win over Wilki Łódzkie and an impressive road victory last weekend against the Polish runners-up, Warsaw Mets. Riding the momentum of two convincing wins, the team from Małopolska will be determined to extend their streak.

“Kraków Kings are always a very strong opponent. We have been facing each other for years both in the Polish League and at the junior level. They are a very physical team, and you can see it this season across all their units. Last year we played two very close, hard-fought games, both won by the Kings. We can expect another tough battle this Sunday, so I warmly invite our fans to support us from the stands,” says Jakub Samel, Head Coach of Panthers Wrocław.

A new American ace in the Panthers’ deck

The young Panthers Wrocław squad proved its high level in the recent game against the experienced side from Katowice. One of the team’s biggest strengths is American quarterback Re-al Mitchell, who showed himself to be a complete player in his last appearance. Mitchell can deliver precise deep passes as well as score himself with dynamic runs. He has quickly developed strong chemistry with Polish wide receiver Tomasz Burdziński, highlighted by a spectacular 44-yard touchdown connection. This duo is expected to play a key role against the Kings, and their plays could decide the outcome of the game.

“Heading into the game against the Kings, we feel a strong desire for revenge after last season and we believe we deserve a playoff spot more this year. After the game against the Rebels, we are left wanting more and we will show that on the field. I think we will be well prepared, our chemistry with the new QB has definitely improved, and we hope that will translate into better offensive efficiency. Despite a few mistakes, our defense looked solid against Katowice, and I hope they maintain that level against Kraków,” adds Tomasz Burdziński, wide receiver for Panthers Wrocław.

A family Sunday at the Olympic Stadium

A Panthers Wrocław game is more than just a sporting contest. It is a full entertainment experience with dynamic action, exciting plays, and an electric atmosphere in the stands.
