Łukasz Kołodziejczyk new coach of special teams, S&C, and RBs

Łukasz Kołodziejczyk joins the Panthers Wrocław coaching staff as the Strength and Conditioning Coach, Special Teams Coordinator, and Running Backs Coach

Panthers Wrocław announces a key addition to its coaching staff ahead of the 2025 European League of Football season. Łukasz Kołodziejczyk brings a wealth of experience from both Polish and international American football.

His decision to join Panthers Wrocław stems from his ambition to compete at the highest European level. “Panthers are one of the best teams in the league, and the ELF is currently the strongest league in Europe. My sporting goal is to compete at the highest level possible, which is why I decided to join the Panthers. The strong foundation of the coaching staff, including Coach Kuligowski and Coach Studrawa, was also a significant factor. I believe that working with them daily will allow me to gain immense football knowledge and experience.”

After analyzing game footage from the previous season, Kołodziejczyk recognized the tremendous potential, determination, and technical proficiency of the Panthers’ players. “The potential of the players is vast. Most importantly, you can see their fighting spirit and will to win, even during challenging moments in games. On top of that, the technical level of players across all positions is high, and I believe this team can win against any ELF opponent.”

Versatility in the Running Back Role and Special Teams Development
Kołodziejczyk emphasizes the importance of working with running backs and special teams, aiming to elevate their performance to the highest level. “An athlete playing as a running back must be athletic, intelligent, and versatile. I place great emphasis on technical fundamentals (cuts, footwork, ball security, pass protection), knowledge of the offensive system, and agility/speed. I want our RBs to be technically and tactically disciplined in certain phases of play, but also to play with finesse and instinctively in other moments. We don’t play the game. We run it!”

Regarding special teams, Kołodziejczyk has clear goals. “I want every special teams unit to rank among the top in league statistics and provide Coach Craig with complete confidence that both the defense and offense will start each drive with excellent field position.”

Extensive Experience at Home and Abroad
His experience in coaching both in Poland and abroad allows him to prepare the team effectively for the challenges of the upcoming ELF season. “Working in Poland and Germany, I had the privilege of collaborating with excellent coaches and players. The combined knowledge and experience I gained from these opportunities will help us prepare properly for the upcoming season. In Germany, we also played in a similar season structure, with ten regular-season games week after week, so I have a good understanding of how demanding the ELF season will be.”
