Panthers Wrocław crushed London Warriors in the opening game of the AFLE season!

Panthers Wrocław win their debut match in AFLE - The League Europe. In the capital of Great Britain, the Wrocław team defeated the London Warriors 41:21.

From the very first whistle, the Wrocław team set a high pace and dominated their rivals from London. The Panthers' American wide receiver, Mike Harley Jr., played an outstanding game, opening the scoring. In total, he recorded as many as four touchdowns. It was clear that already in the first game of the season, he developed great chemistry with quarterback Jameson Wang. The Panthers' quarterback stood out with four touchdown passes and one rushing play, which he finished in the end zone himself. Rushing points were also scored by Dawid Brzozowski. Although the Wrocław offense played a very good game, the defense also deserves praise. They forced the rivals into multiple punts, and Krzysztof Wis made a spectacular interception.

What I was really happy with, I think, and I told our players after the game was our ferocity at the start of the game, how hard we played and how aggressively we played. Although I usually use the word violent. And I was really, really proud of that. We've got a lot of stuff to work on in our kicking game. We had the bad snap at the end that led to a touchdown. But we played all of our players just about. We got a lot of backups in on offense and defense at the end of the ballgame. So I think that's always good for our football team. We have a huge challenge next week at home. I hope we have a great crowd there. People are saying at Vienna that this is the best football team, the best roster that anybody has ever put together in Europe. So it'll be a great challenge for us. The next Panthers Wrocław match in AFLE - The League Europe will take place as early as Sunday, May 31 at 2:40 PM. At the Olympic Stadium, the Panthers will play against the runners-up of the previous European League of Football season, the Austrian team Vienna Vikings.
