A great start to the new ELF season

The strongest American football teams in Europe have returned to the competition for the most important title of this discipline on the Old Continent. Sunday's match with the team from Leipzig ended with a Panthers' triumph. In the home game at the Olympic Stadium in Wrocław, they defeated their opponents 34:27. The fight was even to the end - the final seconds of the match were decisive for the final result, when the team from Wrocław spectacularly scored points that were crucial for the victory.

- We won and this is definitely the most important thing, but the game showed how much work is ahead of us. The defense and the special teams played a great game, but on the offensive side we had too big fluctuations in form. We played some actions sensational, and then we made very big mistakes. We have to correct it and we need to do it as soon as possible. Immediately after the game, we start the video analysis and draw conclusions, because the first away game is ahead of us, and this is always a more difficult task - sums up Jakub Samel , Head Coach of Panthers Wrocław.

A spectacular meeting and great support from the fans

The first game attracted a great crowd of fans to the Wrocław Olympic Stadium. Not only sports emotions at the highest European level awaited them there, but also a large zone of attractions for both children and adults - a blood donation bus, food truck zone, inflatables, a photo booth, as well as games and competitions with prizes from the club's sponsors.

- It was a sports festival in Wrocław, you can dream about such an opening of the season, and then proudly watch your dream come true. You can see that Wrocław loves American football - fans love to spend sports Sundays and we thank them for that. This is a powerful motivation for both our organization and the players. Second game on June,12th in Stuttgart

The players from Lower Silesia will play the next game on June,12th. Their opponent will be Stuttgart Surge. The away meeting will be available on TV broadcast on Polsat Sport News, which will start at 15:00 (3pm CET).
