Quarterfinal Clash with the Warsaw Mets!

The young Panthers Wrocław squad, competing in the Polish Football League, will play their playoff quarterfinal game this Sunday. Their opponent: the Warsaw Mets. The match will take place at the Mareckie Educational and Recreation Center. Kickoff is scheduled for 2:00 PM.

One Game

With a 5–3 record, the young Panthers Wrocław team secured third place in the Southern Group. As a result, they will face the second seed from the Northern Group, the Warsaw Mets, in an away quarterfinal. The Mets had a nearly flawless regular season, losing only once — in the final round — to their city rivals, the Warsaw Eagles.

The Mets’ biggest strength is undoubtedly their high-powered offense, built primarily around the passing game. Quarterback Clayton Uecker has thrown an impressive 38 touchdown passes. Keep an eye on the wide receiver trio of Krzysztof Bartwicki, Daniel Przyborowski, and Jakub Sema — they’ve already combined for 27 receiving touchdowns this season.

The playoffs follow their own rules. It’s a one-game showdown. The winner advances, the loser’s season ends. That means Sunday’s matchup will be packed with emotion, and the young Panthers will give it their all to earn a spot in the Polish Football League semifinals.
