Panthers Wrocław finish the season in 6th place in Europe
Panthers Wrocław have concluded the season in the sixth position in Europe. The Polish representatives, after an exhilarating game, lost in the first round of the playoff phase to Stuttgart Surge with a score of 14:37 and were unable to advance to the semi-finals of the European League of Football.

Panthers finish in the top ranks

Six out of 17 European League of Football teams advanced to the knockout round. Panthers Wrocław concluded the regular season of the European competition with eight wins and four losses. In the semi-finals, the team from Wrocław faced Stuttgart Surge, the winners of the central conference.

The hosts clearly had the upper hand in the game, scoring the first two touchdowns and dominating in the first half of the game. The Wrocław team improved their performance in the second half of the game but couldn't make up for the deficit. William James and Kacper Fiedziuk were the scorers for Panthers.

Although we couldn't make it to the semi-finals, I am proud of our entire team. We put in a tremendous amount of work this season, which will undoubtedly yield results in the future. Building a team is a process that takes time. Next year, we will come back stronger with the same goal – to win the European League of Football championship – said Dave Christensen, head coach of Panthers Wrocław.

Europe continues to compete

In the race for the championship, besides Stuttgart Surge, there are also Frankfurt Galaxy, Vienna Vikings, and Rhein Fire. The European League of Football final will take place on September 24th in Duisburg, Germany. The semi-finals and the final game of the European League of Football can be watched on Polsat sports channels and the league's streaming platform.
