A Dominant Win for Panthers Wrocław – We Defeat Wataha Zielona Góra 49:6

From the very first whistle, Panthers Wrocław set the pace and confidently defeated Wataha Zielona Góra 49:6. The game was not only a strong performance by our starting lineup but also a valuable opportunity for younger and less experienced players to gain on-field experience.

"We’re definitely very pleased not just with the result, but also with the excellent execution of plays — not only by our first team, but also by the second string," said head coach Jakub Samel after the game. "It’s very important for us to develop young players, especially our homegrown juniors. We’re happy that many of them had a chance to step onto the field today and run standard plays against a very physical team like Wataha Zielona Góra. We’re really glad the game went our way, but I also want to congratulate Wataha on their very physical performance. I hope they pull off a surprise in one of their upcoming games."

Throughout the game, players from the second and third units took to the field — including some who only recently joined the team through the latest round of tryouts. For many, it was their first official appearance — and for some, their first time ever playing in a football game.

"I think we had full control over the game from start to finish," said Tomek Osmański after the match. "Our main focus was giving playing time to the backups — the twos and threes. We wanted them to get some reps in. We’re a fresh roster with a lot of new recruits. For some, this was the first game since January; for others, it was their very first football experience. So our main goal was for them to get a feel for the field and gain their first real game experience. I think we accomplished that 100%. Everyone played, everyone’s happy. We got the win — and that was the plan from the start."

This match marks not just another victory for the Panthers, but also an important step in the team's growth and the building of a deep, versatile roster ready for the challenges ahead.
