Panthers Wroclaw begin the fight for the European championship!

Panthers Wrocław begin their competition in the European League of Football, the most prestigious American football league in Europe. The Polish representatives will inaugurate the season on June 3rd at 5:00PM at the Olympic Stadium with a thrilling showdown against the Hamburg Sea Devils, the current runners-up of Europe. The goal of the Wrocław team for the upcoming season is to win the championship.

The European league kicks off with 17 teams from 9 different countries participating in the 2023 season. Panthers Wrocław will compete to be the best team on the continent, facing off against rivals from famous European metropolises such as Berlin, Vienna, Paris, Milan, and Barcelona.

– The European League of Football is a competition at the highest level. Every week, we will be facing the strongest teams in Europe. We have worked diligently during the offseason, elevating our organization to the next level. I am confident that we have everything in Wrocław to compete for the championship, and we intend to prove that we belong at the top of European football with the game against Hamburg. It promises to be a great spectacle, as our games against the Sea Devils always generate intense emotions – says Michał Latoś, the president of Panthers Wrocław.

An electrifying opening

The Wrocław team cannot start the season in a more exciting way – on June 3rd, they will host guests from Germany at their own stadium. The games between Panthers Wrocław and Hamburg Sea Devils always keep fans on the edge of their seats until the very end, guaranteeing a top-level European spectacle. Furthermore, the Hamburg team reached the final of the league last season.

The Panthers Wrocław roster has undergone a complete transformation this season. American head coach Dave Christensen has assembled a new coaching staff and a team composed of the best Polish and outstanding American players. Matthew Vitale, an American quarterback with experience at the highest NCAA level in the USA, will lead the Wrocław offense this season.

According to representatives of the Wrocław Panthers, the team has everything it takes to compete with the strongest teams in the league and contend for a spot in the grand finale. The goal for Panthers Wrocław in the 2023 season is to win the championship.

– We are training extremely hard. I like the direction of our team and the competitiveness of our players. We have worked tirelessly to build a winning culture within the organization. Our players give 100 percent of themselves, and we're very excited to open the season this week. Hamburg is a great opponent, we have a lot of respect for this team, knowing that they played in the championship game a year ago. We know that we're going to have our work cut out for us. I'm sure our players are excited about the opportunity to compete and are looking forward to the challenge – announces Dave Christensen, the head coach of Panthers Wrocław.

Tickets for the event can be purchased now on the Ticketmaster website and also at the ticket booths on the day of the game.
