A Historic Victory

The Panthers Wrocław faced Frankfurt Galaxy as part of the 12th round of the European League of Football. The Wrocław footballers took successful revenge on the German team, leaving no chance for the opponents and confidently defeating the former European champions from three years ago, 54-19. This marked the first-ever win for the Wrocław team against their rivals from Frankfurt. Touchdowns for the Polish team were scored by Dawid Brzozowski, Matt Cole, A.J. Wentland, Adria Botella Moreno, Josiah Norwood, and Gennadiy Adams.

Over five thousand fans watched the Polish-German showdown from the stands, setting a record attendance for a Panthers Wrocław game at the Olympic Stadium. During halftime, the immensely popular Julia Żugaj performed on the field.

We thank the Wrocław fans for their loud support and incredible turnout. Our team played a fantastic game. I'm proud of our entire squad; we fully utilized our potential. Next week, we'll do everything we can to repeat this! – commented Craig Kuligowski, head coach of Panthers Wrocław.
