A Grand Spectacle at Tarczyński Arena
The game between Panthers Wrocław and Berlin Thunder at Tarczyński Arena was the opening game of this year's European League of Football season. Games between the Wrocław and Berlin teams are always filled with excitement, and this one was no different. Both teams played point for point, keeping the result uncertain until the very end. Ultimately, the Wrocław team secured their victory, defeating the German visitors 49:39.
There was plenty of action off the field as well. Before the game, fans had the chance to meet Jan Błachowicz, as well as rappers Tede, O.S.T.R., and Sarius. Later, all four appeared on the field. It was the UFC champion who opened the game with the coin toss, and the rappers performed a concert during halftime.
- The atmosphere was amazing! Our players were supported by tens of thousands of fans in the stands. This game will surely go down in history, especially since our team started the season in great style. Now, we’re not slowing down, because next Saturday we will face the Stuttgart team at the Olympic Stadium. Our goal is another victory, and we invite fans to the stands; I believe we will see crowds again! - said Michał Latoś, president of Panthers Wrocław.
