Panthers Wrocław against the European Champions!

Two meetings and two victories - Panthers Wrocław started this year's struggle as expected. Thanks to the victories of the duels against Leipzig Kings (34:27) and Stuttgart Surge (28:25), the Wrocław players are in the first place in the table of the northern conference, which they will now try to keep till the end of the season. However, it will not be easy - the next opponents of Wrocław will be the footballers from Frankfurt Galaxy, the best team of the European League of Football last season.

Although the Wroclaw players left the field as winners twice this season, both Kings and Surge were able to cause big trouble for their offense. Jakub Samel , Head Coach of Panthers Wrocław, is fully aware of this :

In the last game our defense and special teams did a great job, but we still cannot find the right rhythm in the offense and this is our main task in the near future. The game against Frankfurt will be an experiment here, because the quaterback Justice Hansen suffered an injury and we will see Bartek Dziedzic in this role, and the American Nemieceo Loureiro joined us as a running back. We already have an agreed plan with the entire staff and we are focusing on its execution.

It is true that the Frankfurt Galaxy footballers started the season with two defeats, but in no case can you say that they will be an easy rival. In their first meeting, the team from Frankfurt succumbed to the Rhein Fire team slightly, and last weekend they were unable to stop Vienna Vikings. However, those are the top teams in the league, and in the last game Galaxy played without their main quaterback- Jakeb Sullivan , who will probably be ready to play against the Panthers.

The first two rounds showed perfectly that there are no weak teams in the European League of Football, here everyone can win with everyone. We are trying to consistently move forward. Our coaching staff is constantly working with the team to eliminate any mistakes and prepare players for the most difficult games, such as the one with Galaxy. There have also been a lot of unlucky injuries in both teams, so Sunday will be a bit of a lottery, but as an organization we are prepared for that. Our main goal is invariably winning the championship, which is why we attach particular importance to the game with last year's winner - says Michał Latoś, President of the Management Board of Panthers Wrocław.
