This Sunday, November 2nd, the Panthers Wrocław juniors will play their semifinal matchup in the Polish Junior Football League. Their opponent will be the Rhinos Wyszków. The game will take place at the Olympic Stadium in Wrocław, with kickoff scheduled for 1:00 PM.
We’re entering the playoff phase of the 2025 PFL-J season. In the semifinals, the Panthers Juniors will face Rhinos Wyszków a team that finished second in the Northern Group, behind only the Warsaw Mets. Interestingly, the “Panthers” also met the Rhinos in last year’s semifinal. That game, played at the Olympic Stadium, ended in a 23–0 win for Wrocław. The visitors from Wyszków will surely be eager to take revenge for that loss, especially with such high stakes the winner will advance to the Polish Junior Championship Game in American football for the 2025 season.
“We faced the Rhinos exactly a year ago, also in the semifinal. It was a tough, competitive game, but in the end, we managed to reach the final. They’re a very solid team that only lost to the Warsaw Mets in their group, so I don’t expect them to give up without a fight. It’s going to be a challenging and demanding matchup, but we’ll do everything we can to come out on top,”
says Miłosz Maćków, head coach of the Panthers Juniors.
“The mindset within the team is great everyone knows what’s at stake. I think it’s going to be a hard-fought game. Rhinos are a well-organized squad that plays simple but effective football. We expect a battle for all four quarters. Last year, they showed that they can’t be underestimated,”
adds Alex Okrasa, linebacker for the Panthers Juniors.
