partnership with NFL Flag Poland, a branch of the National Football League dedicated to promoting flag football worldwide. On September 23rd, both organizations will jointly organize a training camp for the youngest players in Wrocław, and this is just the beginning of their collaboration.
NFL Flag Poland is a project aimed at promoting American and flag football globally. Flag football is a non-contact and entirely safe version of American football that can be played by both children and adults. This sport is set to be featured at the upcoming Olympic Games in Los Angeles.
As part of the project, on September 23rd, at the Olympic Stadium in Wrocław, NFL Flag Poland, together with Panthers Wrocław, will organize a camp for children aged 6 to 13 years. The youngest participants will engage in flag football training under the guidance of experienced coaches from Poland and the United States. Registration for the event is available on the website nflflagpoland.com, and the number of spots is limited.
– We are incredibly excited about collaborating with NFL Flag Poland. Promoting sports among the youngest is an area where Panthers Wrocław always places special emphasis. We firmly believe that together we will contribute to the popularization of flag and American football in Poland – says Michał Latoś, President of Panthers Wrocław.
The camp is just the first step in developing the program in Poland. NFL Flag Poland plans to organize full-fledged league competitions for the youngest players in Wrocław later this year.
– As a passionate former American football player, I am incredibly happy to have an impact on the development of this sport and its non-contact version in Poland. The partnership with Panthers Wrocław will undoubtedly increase the reach of our project and allow us to reach even more people. We want Poles to learn that flag football can be an excellent form of entertainment for the youngest, which can grow into a great sporting passion – says Terrance Owens, one of the organizers of NFL Flag Poland.
