The Panthers Wrocław Juniors have recorded their third win of the season! In their first home game played at the Olympic Stadium, the young “Panthers” confidently defeated Silesia Rebels Katowice 56–12. With this victory, the Wrocław team secured their spot in the semifinals of the Polish Junior Football League.
From the very beginning, the Panthers dominated their opponents, imposing their own style of play and proving once again that they feel right at home on their field. The offense consistently gained yards on each drive, and near the end zone, quarterback Maxim Mikita and his unit displayed deadly efficiency. Wojtek Rybicki scored three touchdowns, Jan Wroński added two, and Marcel Szucki, Kacper Chorążewski, and Miłosz Ulatowski each contributed one — with Ulatowski’s coming off a fantastic return play.
The defense also deserves huge credit. Constant pressure on the opposing quarterback resulted in two key interceptions — by Filip Tuń and Maciej Bisek. The performance was rounded off by Jan Bryniak, who recorded a safety, adding two more points for the Panthers.
The domination continued throughout all four quarters, leading to a well-deserved and spectacular victory. With a perfect 3–0 record, the Panthers Juniors have advanced to the semifinals. What’s more, the team continues to build momentum with every game — a great sign as they aim to hit peak form at the most crucial stage of the season.
“First of all, I want to congratulate the offense — great game! As for the defense, it was a solid performance, but it also showed that a lack of discipline can cost us points. I’m glad these situations happen now, at the junior level and in the group stage, because this is the time to learn and fix mistakes before the playoffs. It’s also an important lesson for the players — it’s not just about scoring points, but how you respond after losing them. I’m proud of the guys for leaving the first-half mistakes behind and coming out for the second half as if it were a brand-new game.”
— Tomasz Kiszka, Defensive Coordinator, Panthers Juniors
“It was a great game, ending with a 56–12 home victory. We showed a high level of play across all units — offense, defense, and special teams. I had the honor of contributing two touchdowns to this win, but it was all thanks to effective teamwork, strong discipline, and our outstanding coaching staff. Even with such a big lead and the mercy rule in effect, credit goes to our opponents, who fought until the very end. They showed well-organized special teams and offense. This game is another step toward the championship — and also a valuable lesson showing what we still need to improve. A win is a win — we keep pushing forward! We’ll fix our mistakes and fight until the end!”
— Jan Wroński, Running Back, Panthers Juniors
