Burton replaces Greg Studrawa, who, due to unexpected health issues, is no longer able to serve as the offensive coordinator.

Experience and achievements

The new offensive coordinator of Panthers Wrocław has an impressive coaching resume. Over the years, he has coached numerous players who have received conference honors, led teams to playoff appearances, and secured major upsets against top-ranked teams. One of his recent achievements includes coaching a freshman quarterback who, in just his second start, tied an all-time school record for passing yards in a single game.

"But honestly, the biggest accomplishment for me is seeing the young men I’ve coached go on to succeed in their careers, build strong families, and grow in their faith. That’s the kind of impact that sticks with me and is what I consider to be my biggest coaching achievement," Burton emphasizes.

Burton is a coach who values adaptability and tailoring the style of play to the team’s strengths. His philosophy is based on a balanced offensive attack that combines explosive plays with physical and disciplined execution. While Burton prefers an up-tempo style of play, he is also prepared to slow things down and dominate with a powerful ground game if necessary. His main goal is to maximize the potential of the team and adjust tactics to best fit the roster.

Current offensive roster

Burton is still in the process of evaluating the Panthers’ roster, but he already sees great potential in the squad. He is particularly optimistic about quarterback DJ Irons and dynamic playmakers like Brzozowski and Stewart. He also highlights the importance of the offensive line, recognizing it as the foundation of any successful offense.

"It’s still pretty early in the process right now, and I haven’t had an opportunity to see the most recent roster in its entirety, but the conversations I’ve had regarding our very talented QB DJ Irons have me extremely optimistic. Especially when you factor in dynamic players like Brzozowski and Stewart. You can’t leave out that offensive line, which is where everything starts, and I’m excited to get with them ASAP and get to work," says Burton.

Goals for the new season

The first goal for the new offensive coordinator is to establish an identity for the offense—one that is tough, smart, and explosive. Initially, Burton will focus on building team chemistry and implementing a system that maximizes the strengths of his players. In the short term, the priority is to get everyone on the same page during the offseason and training camp. In the long term, the goal is to compete for a championship and make Panthers Nation proud.
