This year's rules in the European League of Football allow for strengthening the roster with four A status players - those, who started their career in a country with football games at the academic level (US, Mexico, Canada, Japan) and six E status players - for us, these are players from from abroad, from a country not listed on the A list.
We have already welcomed three out of four US players (S. Brown - DL, A. Smith - DB, B. Martin - WR) on board - it's time for the third European player in the lineup for the 2023 season!
The huge - weighing 133 kilograms & 190 centimeters tall, the Portuguese with African roots is another reinforcement in the composition of head coach Dave Christensen, who is currently staying in Wrocław. In the 2021 season - the inaugural year of the European League of Football - Pinheiro represented the colors of Barcelona Dragons, for the 2022 season he moved overseas to the Fundidores de Monterrey team in the Mexican LFA league. After a two-year break due to the restrictions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, the 2022 season brought the Fundidores its first historic National Championship, and Pinheiro himself was awarded the title of Mexico All-Star.
In anticipation of the emotions that the 2023 season will bring, see the highlight tape of the newest Panther on Mexican fields this previous season!
