We know the official schedule of Panthers Wrocław games as part of ELF 2022

We have just got to know the official schedule of matches within the European League of Football (ELF). Panthers Wrocław, who will again represent our country on the international stage as the only team from Poland, will inaugurate the season on the first Sunday of June.

Where and when will the Panthers play?

The Wrocław Panthers are waiting for 12 matches in the regular season - 6 away games and 6 at home. In addition to their opponents from the Northern Conference, they will also play six matches against teams from outside the group - against Vienna Vikings, Stuttgart Surge and the defending title Frankfurt Galaxy. The first match of Panthers Wrocław against the team from Leipzig is scheduled for Sunday, June 5th at the Olympic Stadium in Wrocław.

The detailed schedule of the matches of the Wrocław team is as follows:

June 12th - Stuttgart Surge (away)

June 19th - Frankfurt Galaxy (away)

June 26th - Hamburg Sea Devils (home)

July 3rd - Vienna Vikings (away)

July 10th - Berlin Thunder (away)

July 17th - Stuttgart Surge (home)

July 31st - Frankfurt Galaxy (home)

August 14th - Berlin Thunder (home)

August 21st - Leipzig Kings (away)

August 28th - Hamburg Sea Devils (away)

September 4th - Vienna Vikings (home)

All Panthers home games will be played at the Olympic Stadium in Wrocław, which is invariably one of the best football venues in Europe. The fans in the stands will certainly be able to count on a great show, but the club's authorities are working intensively to reach a wider group of fans.

- It will be another breakthrough season for us. We are reaching a higher level in terms of sport, but we are also raising the bar in terms of organization and marketing. I can say that we are talking about regular broadcasts with one of the Polish TV stations, but I hope we will share the details in the coming weeks - says the President of the Management Board of Panthers Wrocław, Michał Latoś.

The second season of the European League Of Football

For Panthers Wrocław, the upcoming season will be the second in the European League of Football. They will play again in the strongest league in Europe as the only team from Poland. Although they will face the teams they met on the pitch in 2021, it is hard to predict at the moment how the game will go and who will be the favorite in the fight for the most important football title on the Old Continent.

- Theoretically, we can say that we know the rivals we faced in the 2021 season. Each team, however, is undergoing a more or less reconstruction of both the squads and the coaching staffs, so it is difficult to predict the favorites at this point. Winter is a very active period in terms of transfers and many players change their club colors, which will certainly have an impact on the balance of power. In addition, we will also face teams that we did not play with last season, such as Vienna Vikings, for example. It is a recognized European brand with great experience, but it's hard to say what their first matches will be in a league that is not only much more demanding, but also differs from European leagues in terms of the rules of the game - says Michał Latoś. As he adds - We know that we are put as favorites to win the group. These voices reach us regularly from all over Europe, but we definitely approach the season with calm, and our opponents with due respect. In Europe, there is already talk of the league classics Wrocław - Hamburg or Wrocław - Frankfurt, but the other opponents will certainly be well prepared, which cannot lull our vigilance.

A time of intense preparation

The entire post-season period for the Panthers Wrocław team was marked by conclusions and intensive preparations, which could be seen, among others, by when contracting foreign players.

- Richer about the experience of the previous season, we knew in which positions we needed reinforcements and who we were looking for. The same goes for the coaching staff. 2021 has shown us how crucial experience is on the bench and we are implementing this plan step by step. It is no different with the organizational side - preparation of home meetings, trips or marketing plans. We are working hard to reach the next level this year, because we know that even small logistic solutions can have a key impact on the final result - says Jakub Głogowski, General Manager Panthers Wrocław.

At this point, the players focus on implementing strength and motor programs.

- In February, the first foreign coaches joined the team. Dave Likins, Tony Simmons and Thiadric Hansen are already in Wrocław. Every day they work on improving our game system, but also focus on individual work with individual players and formations so that they are 100% ready when foreign players join us in the spring. The mood is combative and it can be safely said that we are already looking forward to June 5th and the moment when we will run out to the pitch of the Olympic Stadium. It will definitely be a great season for football in Europe and another breakthrough year for ELF - says Jakub Głogowski.
