Panthers Wrocław, the only Polish representative in the elite AFLE – The League Europe, are returning to the largest sports venue in Lower Silesia. On June 14 (Sunday), the Wrocław-based team will face German side Berlin Thunder at Tarczyński Arena.
Tarczyński Arena, home to Śląsk Wrocław football club, will once again host American football in what promises to be a rare and special occasion. Games of this scale take place here only once every few years. It was at this very stadium that the Panthers franchise was officially announced in 2013. Two years later, the national championship final was played here in front of over 13,000 fans. The last time Panthers Wrocław took the field at Tarczyński Arena was in 2024, when they defeated Berlin Thunder in front of a crowd of several thousand spectators.
“We are very excited to play our league matchup against Berlin Thunder at Tarczyński Arena. This stadium offers a fantastic atmosphere and gives more fans in Wrocław the opportunity to experience the Panthers, American football, and the AFLE league in a world-class venue. We invite everyone to join us in celebrating a great day full of sport and entertainment,” said Dave Likins, Head Coach of Panthers Wrocław.
AFLE – The League Europe is a prestigious competition featuring eight carefully selected teams from seven countries. Panthers Wrocław compete against top clubs from major cities such as Vienna, Paris, Berlin, and London. The team is widely regarded as one of the most experienced and stable organizations in the league, which, combined with their ambitions this season, guarantees top-level competition.
The event at Tarczyński Arena is designed with families in mind, as Panthers Wrocław games have long been known for their rich game-day experience. In addition to high-level sporting action, fans will be able to enjoy a wide range of attractions. The stadium will feature a dedicated fan zone with food trucks, inflatable attractions for children, and partner activations. The atmosphere will be enhanced by live performances and the presence of the club’s mascot. For those new to American football, professional live commentary will help explain the rules and tactics, making the game fully accessible to every spectator.
“Playing at the biggest stadium in this part of Poland always brings extra excitement for both us and our fans. We want to show our best, thank our supporters for their presence, and add another win to our record. Come together, bring your friends, your families, your drums and horns, and get ready for a great show,” added Rafał Rogaczewski, center for Panthers Wrocław.
Tickets for this special matchup, as well as for other Panthers Wrocław home games at the Olympic Stadium, will be available via Eventim. Fans are encouraged to follow the club’s official channels, where information about ticket sales will be announced soon. Stay tuned to secure your seat and be part of another historic event at Tarczyński Arena, supporting Wrocław’s team in their pursuit of the European crown.
