The Battle for First Place in the Southern Group

This Sunday, the Panthers Wrocław Juniors will play their final—and most important—game of the 2025 regular season. Their opponent will be the well-known Kraków Kings, and the stakes couldn’t be higher: first place in the Southern Group. The matchup will take place at the Olympic Stadium, with kickoff scheduled for 1:00 PM.

The young Panthers have been storming through the 2025 season like a hurricane. In their first three games, they have clearly demonstrated their dominance, confidently winning every matchup and scoring a total of 151 points—an impressive average of around 50 points per game. The defense has been just as effective, consistently limiting opponents and putting tremendous pressure on opposing quarterbacks. Now, it’s time to put the finishing touch on a stellar season—by defeating the Kraków Kings at home and securing the top spot in the group, along with a favorable playoff seed.

Just like the Panthers, the Kraków Kings remain unbeaten this season. Their offense is built on accurate passing and solid running plays. The Kings are equally hungry for victory and determined to finish the regular season undefeated. However, recent history favors the Wrocław side. Last season, the Panthers Juniors convincingly shut out the Kings 20–0, and fans are hoping for a repeat performance in just a few days.

“We know the Kraków Kings very well—our matchups always bring a lot of excitement every year,” said Miłosz Maćków, head coach of the Panthers Juniors. “I’m confident we’ll meet expectations again this season and give our fans a great show. The Kings are a strong team; they’ve been developing young players successfully for years, with both a solid offense and a very good defense. From our offense’s perspective, it’ll be an excellent test before the playoffs. As I said, we’re aiming for a great game and we’ll do everything we can to earn two more points and play the semifinal in front of our home crowd in two weeks.”

Sunday’s game kicks off at 1:00 PM, and admission is free!
