Panthers Wrocław dominate in Kraków and clinch the play-off berth.

Panthers Wrocław defeated Kraków Kings 48-14 on the road, securing their spot in the Polish Football League play-offs. Jakub Samel's squad clinched their post-season promotion with two games left in the regular season.

From the very first plays, it was clear what the Wrocław team came to achieve in the capital of the Lesser Poland Voivodeship. They dominated the local Kings both on offense and defense, quickly building a commanding lead that allowed them to comfortably control the rest of the game. Reliable quarterback Re-al Mitchell and running back Krystian Stępczak scored two touchdowns each, while Maksymilian Cybula, Tomasz Burdziński, and Mikołaj Dziedzic added one apiece.

We quickly set a tempo that the Kings simply couldn't keep up with. Both units performed very well, which allowed us to pull ahead and give our backups some game time. Everyone got to play, we discovered some new talent, and now it's time for a quick review before shifting our focus entirely to the Lowlanders.” - commented Przemysław Lewszyk, Defensive Coordinator for Panthers Wrocław.

Today was a hard fought win! I’m Proud of the way we showed up and executed on offense, defense and special teams. We had a great week of practice and look to still improve going into a highly anticipated game next weekend!” - adds Re-al Mitchell, Quarterback for Panthers Wrocław

Thanks to this victory, the Wrocław team holds a 4-2 record and has secured its place in this year's domestic post-season. However, Jakub Samel's men still have two demanding away games ahead of them against Lowlanders Białystok and Silesia Rebels Katowice.

The excitement won't stop on the domestic stage, though, as the Panthers' European squad is set to play a massive home game this coming Sunday in Wrocław. Following an impressive 22-14 victory over the Paris Lights, the Wrocław team will face Berlin Thunder at the 44,000-seat Tarczyński Arena as part of the prestigious AFLE - The League Europe. The game kicks off at 4:10 PM, and tickets are available for purchase via Eventim.
