Season 2024: Jakub Mazan's great comeback!

Panthers Wrocław with a real bomb! Author of the first historic touchdown in the European League of Football - Jakub Mazan is returning from his sports retirement to the team. The Toruń native will bolster the receiver corps of the Wrocław team.

Jakub Mazan is one of the most effective wide receivers in the history of American football in Poland. The player from Toruń joined Panthers Wrocław in 2019 after years of playing for the Seahawks Gdynia. Throughout his career, Mazan won the Polish championship twice and received numerous individual awards.

Mazan shone on the fields of the European League of Football in 2021 and 2022. In the first ELF season, he was one of the most effective receivers in the league, catching 793 passing yards and scoring six touchdowns, earning him a spot in the ELF All-Star Team. Mazan retired before the 2023 season.

– Sports is like gambling - it's hard to leave when you haven't won the most important title. That's exactly why I'm coming back to the game - I want to 'try one last time' to win the European League of Football championship. I can tell my teammates that I'll return with an even stronger mentality, and to the fans, that I can't wait to give you what you expect from a wide receiver - spectacular plays and plenty of points. I want to give the team as much as they will demand from me. I'm still too young for fishing – commented Jakub Mazan himself.

This is another name that will strengthen the Panthers Wrocław roster in the 2024 season. Recently, the team has also welcomed Gennadiy Adams (RB), Steven Duncan (QB), Matt Cole (WR), Dušan Novaković (DL), Adrià Botella Moreno (TE), Keanu Ebanks (OL), and Devan Burrell (DB).
