Roster moves: William James joins Panthers Wrocław

Panthers Wrocław with another reinforcement. William James, one of the top defenders from Leipzig Kings, has joined the team. Meanwhile, the team bid farewell to Nemanja Vucković (DB), and Ariel Back (OL coach).

Transfer from Leipzig

William James previously played for Panthers Wrocław in the 2021 season. This year, the Swedish defensive back represented Leipzig Kings, who recently withdrew from the European League of Football due to financial reasons. James is one of the most effective players in his position in Europe.

– I wanted to join the Panthers cause I already know how good their organisation is from my first season there and they only got better with everything that they were doing. You won’t find better facilities in Europe I believe and I’m super excited to help a team that’s already playing good physical football. The city of Wrocław is absolutely gorgeous. Love the river walk and the food scene! Can’t wait to explore more of it. For the Panthers fans, I can’t wait to bring even more energy and excitement to the field and help bring home the W’s – says James himself.

Next stop: Czech Republic

The home game against Leipzig Kings scheduled for July 23rd has been canceled. Panthers Wrocław will play their next game on July 29th at 5:00 PM in the capital of the Czech Republic. Prague Lions will seek revenge against the Polish representatives for their 23-29 loss in the first game. The game against the Czech team, like all other games of the Wrocław team, will be broadcasted on Polsat sports channels and the league's Gamepass.
