PWR Racing Team and Panthers Wrocław join forces!

Panthers Wrocław became an ambassador of the USA Project of the PWR Racing Team. Both organizations want to cooperate in order to encourage fans to follow their activities, therefore they are preparing original promotional campaigns. The activities will cover the upcoming season, and in particular the PWR Racing Team's trip to the international Formula SAE Michigan competition taking place May 15th to 23rd in the United States and home games of Panthers Wrocław as part of the European League of Football.

PWR Racing Team is a student racing team from the Wrocław University of Technology. For over a decade, they have been designing and building on their own cars in Formula Student class every year, with which they take part in international competitions held on the leading racing tracks in Europe and around the world (e.g. on facilities known from the F1 series - Hungaroring, Hockenheimring or Silverstone). The University Students have already built 12 cars - 11 combustion cars and one electric car with autonomous driving systems. They are currently working on the 13th car - also electric and autonomous.

PWR Racing Team is the most successful Formula Student team in Poland. As the first and only Polish team, they won the general classification of the competition - it was the Formula SAE Italy competition in 2017. For over a decade, with combustion cars, they stood on the podium of the competition as many as 35 times, including nine times taking the highest place in individual competitions.

To say goodbye to combustion cars in a proper way and end this special stage in the history of the team, students will take part in the Formula SAE Michigan competition in the United States in May this year. They will perform there with the RT11B - the evolution of their last combustion car. The event in the USA is the oldest and most prestigious competition of this series. 120 teams will participate in this year's edition. The team from Wrocław represents Poland and Europe in this competition as the only one.

Also Panthers Wrocław are the only representatives of Poland in the prestigious European League of Football. Established in 2013, the club is growing at an exponential pace, raising the bar higher each season. When the Panthers were brought to life less than 10 years ago, they only played American football. Today, they call themselves the American sports club - because they also play lacrosse, ultimate frisbee and softball. In total, the organization has over 300 active players, both senior and junior. In addition, the Panthers have at their disposal one of the best facilities for American football in Europe - the Olympic Stadium in Wrocław.

Panthers Wrocław are multiple champions of Poland in American football. They decided to play in the European League - the European League of Football - when the domestic games were no longer a challenge for them. In Europe, they are also at the forefront from the very beginning. The Panthers footballers will start the 2023 season in early June with a home game against German Hamburg Sea Devils.

Both organizations are constantly working to reach a wider audience that loves sports, excitement and adrenaline. For this reason, the PWR Racing Team, among others, will visit the home games of Panthers Wrocław. Soon, representatives of both organizations will reveal further details of cooperation and surprises that they have jointly prepared for the fans.
