Polish-Czech Rematch in the European League of Football

This Sunday, the Panthers Wrocław will face the Prague Lions in a highly anticipated rematch. The Wrocław team will travel to the Czech capital seeking revenge for their recent loss at the Olympic Stadium a few weeks ago. Kickoff is scheduled for 4:25 PM.

Conquering Prague

Riding the momentum of two consecutive victories, Poland’s representatives in the European League of Football are not planning to slow down. They are determined to secure another win. However, this time the challenge will be tougher than in the previous two weeks. The Prague Lions have been playing excellent football in the 2025 season. In their first clash with the Panthers, held at the Olympic Stadium, they emerged victorious with a dominant 45–13 win.

Much has changed since that game—especially in Wrocław. The Panthers have significantly strengthened both their roster and coaching staff. Under head coach Craig Kuligowski, the team is now well-coordinated and ready to take on the Czech side in this crucial rematch.

“Even though we faced theoretically lower-ranked teams in recent weeks, those games were very important for us. They allowed us to correct our mistakes and fully prepare for the tough challenge against the Prague Lions. We’re now completely focused. We know the upcoming schedule is very demanding, so we’re approaching each game with maximum commitment. The Lions play a very offensive style this season. Their biggest threat is wide receiver William Patterson, who’s having an outstanding year. We’ll do everything we can to avoid repeating the mistakes of our previous encounter. It’s going to be a really tough and intense match, so we encourage everyone to watch the broadcast or come to Prague. We need your support! Go Panthers!”
– commented Wojciech Simka, cornerback for Panthers Wrocław.
