Percy King Is the Newest Member of Panthers Wrocław!

Twenty-three-year-old Percy King, hailing from the United States, plays at the outside linebacker position and has joined the Panthers’ roster in the Polish Football League. Percy’s journey in American football began in the U.S., first at Gahanna Lincoln High School in Ohio, and then at Lenoir-Rhyne University in North Carolina. After graduating in 2024, he received an offer to play in Europe—specifically in the Italian Football League for the Ferrara Aquile team. Percy impressed on European fields with his athleticism and solid football IQ. Beyond that, he is a leader both on and off the field. We’re thrilled he’s joined our organization, and this Saturday we’ll be able to admire his talent at the Olympic Stadium in the matchup against Silesia Rebels Katowice.

“American football is a huge part of my life and the success I’ve achieved. My dedication to the game, combined with my athleticism and strategic approach, has helped me stand out on the field. I’m proud to be a leader and give my all every time I step onto the field. Whether I’m changing the course of a game or motivating my teammates to be their best, I’ve worked hard to earn recognition and make an impact on the team. I’m excited to join the Panthers. I want to thank the entire Wrocław organization and God for this opportunity. I can’t wait to represent the city and the team. I want to help win games and contribute to the organization’s future successes.”
Percy King, New Player, Panthers Wrocław

“During his season in Italy, Percy proved himself as a versatile player, taking part in all special teams, offense, and defense. He has a strong work ethic. It’s clear he came here to play football, not to take a European vacation. It’s also important that he’s young—he’s 23—and he will quickly find chemistry with our defense, as he’s already shown in practice and on the sideline during the game against Armia Poznań.”
Przemysław Lewszyk, Defensive Coordinator, Panthers Wrocław

We welcome Percy to Wrocław and wish him many successful performances in Panthers Wrocław colors!
