Panthers Wrocław with a victory in front of their home crowd
Another victory in the European League of Football for the Panthers Wrocław. The Polish team defeated the team from the Czech capital, the Prague Lions, 14-3 on their home turf. Thanks to the win, the "Panthers" still have a chance to advance to the playoff phase of the European competition.

Home Victory

The Panthers Wrocław vs. Prague Lions game took place as part of the 7th round of the European League of Football. The two teams faced each other for the first time this season.

For Wrocław, the game went according to plan. For most of the game, it was the hosts who had the initiative, and the visitors were unable to execute a successful scoring play. Both touchdowns for the Panthers were scored by the American wide receiver Josiah Norwood. With this win, the Polish team retained their chances of advancing to the playoff phase of the European league, but they cannot afford any mistakes in the regular season.

I am proud of our team, especially since this was my first game as head coach. Our players fulfilled the pre-game plans and avoided mistakes, playing a very good defensive game. Now the players have time to recover, and the coaching staff is already working on analyzing the games of our upcoming opponents. We know we are still in the game and can advance to the playoffs – said Craig Kuligowski, head coach of Panthers Wrocław.

The Fight for Playoffs Continues

The next game for Wrocław will be in two weeks, away – on Sunday, July 21 at 13:00, they will face an undefeated Stuttgart Surge in a rematch. The game will be broadcast from 12:55 on Polsat Sport 3, Polsat Box Go, and on the league’s streaming platform.

The next home game for the Polish representatives in the European League of Football will take place on August 27 at 17:00. Wrocław will then host the Hungarian Fehérvár Enthroners at the Olympic Stadium. Tickets for this game are available on Ticketmaster.
