Standing at 183 cm and weighing 90 kg, Atilla Isik has been one of the standout players in the European League of Football since its inception. Born in 2001, Isik previously played for the Istanbul Rams, where he became a key figure for the team despite their struggles. Game after game, he built his reputation across Europe by consistently disrupting opposing plays with precise coverage and a physical style of play, earning him the title of one of the league's most promising defensive backs.

For his outstanding performance in the 2022 season, Isik was awarded the ELF Defensive Rookie of the Year. Despite his young age, he is recognized for his leadership skills, strong work ethic, and ability to mentor younger players, making him a valuable asset both on and off the field.

Atilla, we’re excited about your transfer! What made you choose the Panthers to return to the ELF in 2025?
The Panthers are one of the most reputable teams in Europe since the league began. The organization, the coaches, the players, the Panthers Nation, and the city of Wrocław, which is a historic place, all played a huge role in my decision.

This isn’t your first ELF experience. From your perspective, how would you evaluate the league's growth in its first four years?
The European League has been growing at an incredible pace, making giant leaps every year and giving players amazing opportunities to achieve dreams that seemed out of reach not long ago.

How would you describe your playing style? What can the fans expect from you?
I always try to focus on an intelligent approach to the game. I combine my talent with a detailed analysis of film and each opponent. I believe this combination allows me to play in a way that fans genuinely enjoy watching.

In 2024, the Panthers' defense was one of the most dominant in Europe. What are your expectations for the team?
I know that team chemistry is the most important factor in defense. Once we hit the field and develop strong communication, I believe we’ll be even better than last year!

Last season you played in the Turkish league. How are your preparations for the upcoming season going?
I’m currently focused on explosiveness and technique, combining turf workouts with strength training in the gym. As I do every offseason, I’m also paying extra attention to improving my flexibility.

I first encountered Panthers Nation when I played against the Panthers, and honestly, even from the field, I admired and envied the support the team had. I’m so happy and proud to be part of the Panthers family, a community that is so passionately supportive.
