Panthers Wrocław narrowly defeated by Vienna Vikings

After a tough and closely contested game, Panthers Wrocław were narrowly defeated at home by Vienna Vikings 13-16. In the next round, Wrocław will play their first away game of the season on June 16 against Frankfurt Galaxy.

A Tough Game for Panthers Wrocław

The game between Panthers Wrocław and Vienna Vikings was part of the 3rd round of the European League of Football. The team from Vienna are the European champions from two years ago and last year's semi-finalists in the European League of Football. Despite leading 10-7 at halftime, Wrocław ultimately saw the guests from Vienna celebrate a 13-16 victory. Errors and lack of luck in crucial moments of the game decided the outcome.

This wasn't our game. We are aware of what we lacked and the mistakes we made. We know what we need to fix and we will do everything to be ready for the next game. Our goals never change – said Dave Christensen, head coach of Panthers Wrocław.

Upcoming away games

After three home games to start the season, Panthers Wrocław now face a series of away games. Their next game will be next week on June 16 (Sunday) at 13:00 against Frankfurt Galaxy. The game will be broadcast on Polsat Sport 3, Polsat Box Go, and the league's streaming platform.

The next home game for Panthers will be on July 7, when they host Prague Lions at the Olympic Stadium. Tickets for this game are available on Ticketmaster.pl.
