Panthers Wrocław fall short against European Runners-up
After an extremely close game, Panthers Wrocław lost at home to Stuttgart Surge 34-44. Next week, the Wrocław team will play again at the Olympic Stadium – on June 9th, they will face Austria’s Vienna Vikings.

Panthers Back in Action

The game between Panthers Wrocław and Stuttgart Surge at the Olympic Stadium was the second game of this season's European League of Football. It was the Stuttgart team that blocked Wrocław’s path to the European League semi-finals last year.

The Wrocław Panthers were close to taking revenge on the German team. It was the Polish team that went into halftime leading 20-14. Ultimately, the opponents managed to take the lead and did not let it slip despite continuous attacks from Wrocław. The game ended with a score of 34-44 for the visitors from Stuttgart.

- In the game against Stuttgart, our team showed great performance; we are proud of our players. We played on equal footing with the European vice-champions. We will learn from this match and come back stronger. We invite fans to the next game, which we will play on June 9th against the Vienna Vikings! As always, we guarantee great excitement and a fantastic sports spectacle! – says Michał Latoś, president of Panthers Wrocław.

Home Game Against Vienna Next Week

Panthers Wrocław have another home game ahead. On Sunday, June 9th, at 13:00 PM, Wrocław will host the Vienna Vikings at the Olympic Stadium. Tickets for the event can be purchased on Ticketmaster. Those who cannot make it to the Olympic Stadium can follow the game live from 12:55 PM on Polsat Sport 3, Polsat Box Go, and the league's streaming platform.
