Panthers Wrocław at Generali Arena. Time for a Rematch!

After a two-week break, it’s time for another clash for Panthers Wrocław in the European League of Football. This Saturday, August 9, the Wrocław team will face the Vienna Vikings in an away rematch. Kickoff is scheduled for 6:00 PM.

Our representatives in the European League of Football are entering the decisive phase of the regular season. Two crucial games remain for Panthers Wrocław: an away match against the Vienna Vikings and a home game versus the Munich Ravens.

The Vienna Vikings, Panthers’ upcoming opponent, clinched the Eastern Division title two weeks ago with a commanding 53–16 win over the Fehérvár Enthroners. Despite securing the division, the Vikings are still battling for the highest possible playoff seeding—making this a challenging task for Panthers Wrocław. The Vikings are a well-established team and have been a dominant force in European American football for years. In the first matchup between these two teams, played at the Olympic Stadium in Wrocław, the Austrians came out on top with a 38–12 victory.

The rematch gains even more flavor thanks to its venue. The Generali Arena in Vienna, with a capacity of nearly 18,000, is the regular home of Austria Wien’s football team and also occasionally hosts Vienna Vikings games. The atmosphere in such a large stadium will certainly add to the spectacle.
