Panthers Wrocław are the Polish U17 Champions!

The Tarczyński Final Four, the grand final tournament of the Polish Football League U17, is now behind us. After a series of highly competitive matchups, the young players of Panthers Wrocław proved to be the best team in the country, fully deserving the national championship title.

Last Saturday, the PFL-J U17 Final Tournament took place at Stadion Olimpijski in Wrocław. Four teams competed in the event: Panthers Wrocław Black, Panthers Wrocław Blue, Kraków Kings, and Hunters Tarnów. For these young American football players, it was likely the most important day of their sporting careers so far. From the very beginning, the determination and desire to perform at the highest level were clearly visible on the field. Throughout the tournament, both the fans gathered at the stadium and those watching the live stream were able to witness plenty of spectacular plays from both offensive and defensive units.

The young Panthers players maintained a high and consistent level in every game, outperforming their rivals from Małopolska. In addition to winning the Polish Championship title, several players also received individual honors. Mark Podolian was named the best player of Panthers Blue, Tymoteusz Konieczny earned the best player award for Panthers Black, Wojtek Rybicki was named Offensive Player of the Tournament, Ivan Stasyuk received the Defensive Player of the Tournament award, and the MVP of the final game title went to Marcel Szczucki.

We have just witnessed the first-ever U17 six-man football final tournament in Poland. After highly competitive games, both of our teams managed to advance to the final. Our opponents showed tremendous character and excellent preparation, which kept the excitement alive until the very end. I’m extremely happy that every team earned a medal, because our football youth truly deserved it. These competitions clearly show the incredible potential within our junior players. I sincerely hope we will continue to see more teams and tournaments in the future. I would also like to thank Tarczyński for sponsoring the competition, the Panthers Wrocław organization for preparing the final tournament, and all teams that took part in the event.said Patryk Guk, Head Coach of Panthers Wrocław U17.

The emotional 2026 season of the Polish Football League U17 has officially come to an end. Every player deserves tremendous recognition for their determination and sportsmanship throughout the season. Although the U17 competition is now over, the young Panthers are not done yet this year. At the turn of August and September, representatives of our club will begin competing in the U20 junior league. Ahead of us lies a period of intense preparation for the next challenge.
