In the 9th round of the European League of Football, Panthers Wrocław will travel to the capital of the Czech Republic. On July 29th (Saturday), the team from Wrocław will face Prague Lions for the second time this season. In the first game between the two teams, the Polish representatives celebrated victory. The result of the game in Prague could be crucial in the context of the fight for advancement to the playoff phase.

In the last game, Panthers Wrocław came close to a victory against the European champions. The Wrocław team led for a long time against the Vienna Vikings but ultimately succumbed to the Austrians 21:24. With a record of 5:3, the Polish team currently holds the third position in the table of the Eastern Conference of the European League of Football.

We hold our rivals in high regard; in the first game, the Czechs showed that they can play solid, physical football. However, our goal remains unchanged - we intend to quickly move to the offense to celebrate another victory after the game, which will bring us closer to the playoff phase – says Dave Christensen, head coach of Panthers Wrocław.
Panthers Wrocław will come to Prague as the clear favorites. The Czechs have only one victory so far. In the first game against Panthers Wrocław, the Lions managed to put up a fight - the game ended with a score of 29:23 in favor of the Panthers.
Wrocław's team is still fighting for a spot in the playoffs of the European League of Football. In order to advance to the knockout phase, the Polish representatives cannot afford any missteps in the game in Prague.
