Panthers Juniors Stay Undefeated with Win Over Kings

In their final regular-season game, the Panthers Wrocław Juniors defeated the Kraków Kings 35–12 at the Olympic Stadium. With this victory, they once again claimed first place in the Southern Group and secured the right to play their semifinal matchup in front of their home crowd.

In the first half, the visitors from Kraków put up a strong fight, making it a close and intense contest. After two quarters, the “Panthers” led 14–6, but after halftime, the Wrocław team clearly shifted into a higher gear and took full control of the game. The defense was in excellent form, consistently putting heavy pressure on the opposing quarterback, which resulted in an interception by Filip Tuń. At the same time, the offense methodically advanced the ball, steadily gaining yards. Quarterback Wojciech Rybicki and running back Jan Wroński each scored two rushing touchdowns, while tight end Eryk Grzesiak added one more on a passing play.

“The game went our way from the start. We knew the Kings were a physical and experienced team, so we wanted to impose our style right from the first quarter. Defensively, we missed four or five interception opportunities, which later cost us a bit, but overall, we controlled the game. It was good to face such a strong opponent — it exposed some mistakes that we need to fix,”
said Przemysław Lewszyk, Panthers Juniors defensive coordinator.

“It was a tough game where both our offense and defense performed really well. The win feels even better knowing the opponent was undefeated — until today. I’m happy with my own performance, but most importantly, we finished the game strong as a team,”
added Wojciech Rybicki, Panthers Juniors quarterback.

Semifinal at the Olympic Stadium

With a perfect record, Wrocław finished the regular season atop the Southern Group standings. In two weeks — on Sunday, November 2, at 1:00 p.m. — they will face Rhinos Wyszków at the Olympic Stadium in the semifinal matchup.
