New quarterback - Steven Duncan at Panthers Wrocław!

Another American joins the Panthers Wrocław. In the upcoming season, the offense of the Polish representatives in the European League of Football will be led by Steven Duncan – a player with experience at the highest collegiate level in the USA.

New QB in Wrocław

Steven Duncan
is a former quarterback of the Tarleton Texans - a team in the first division of NCAA. In the last two seasons at the university, he recorded 3048 yards and 30 touchdowns in 18 games. He also played in the USA for the Western Kentucky Hilltopers and Incarnate Word Cardinals. However, playing in Wrocław will not be his debut on European fields - in the previous season, Duncan led the offense for the Dresden Monarchs - one of the top teams in the German league.

I joined Wrocław because it is a place that is all in on bringing an ELF Championship to the city and the country of Poland. The coaches and players are all in on doing whatever it takes to win. The facilities look amazing; they are by far one of the top facilities in Europe with everything being accessible at one place. The city of Wrocław is beautiful and looks to be a place many people enjoy in Europe. So alongside football I believe Poland is going to be a great place for my work-life balance! My message to the fans is let’s do everything we can as one unit and one family. I am looking forward to the Fans, Players, Coaches, support staff and more to make this season a historic run! Without one we are nothing, but all together we will be special – says Steven Duncan himself.

Full roster of Americans

Duncan
(QB) is the fourth American player for Panthers Wrocław in the 2024 season. Besides him, A.J. Wentland (LB) and Devan Burrell (DB) along with Matt Cole (WR) will defend the colors of the Wrocław team. The team has also been joined by Otávio Amorim (OL) from Brazil, Keanu Ebanks (OL) from Great Britain, Adrià Botella Moreno (TE) from Spain, and Dušan Novaković (DL) from Serbia.

According to the European League of Football rules, each team can recruit a maximum of four players from the United States and six from other countries worldwide. The 2024 ELF season will kick off at the end of May next year.
