Danish offensive lineman Laurits Vinther joins Panthers Wrocław! In the 2026 season, he will represent the Wrocław-based team on international gridirons in the AFLE competition.
Laurits is 22 years old and hails from Denmark, where he began his American football journey. His resume includes stints in the Danish league (Frederikssund Oaks), the German league (Razorbacks Ravensburg), and the Danish national team. For the past three seasons, he has been a key component of the offensive line for a top-tier GFL team. The young Dane is an exceptionally athletic lineman who can play virtually any position on the offensive line.
From Denmark, through Germany, to Poland – what made you decide to continue your career specifically with the Panthers Wrocław?
The professionalism the team provides was a big reason. From the coaching staff to the players and everyone surrounding it.
Before signing the contract, did you talk to the coaches about how they see your role in the team, and did you have a chance to speak with any of your future teammates?
I believe my versatility and mobility will be a big factor. Yes, I’ve been talking to big 65 Lukas Majer.
Which element of the game gives you the most satisfaction: dominating in run blocking or providing perfect pass protection?
Moving defenders off the line is always fun, but communicating with the line and picking up an exotic blitz perfectly on a 3rd and long is unbeatable.
Offensive linemen need a lot of "fuel." Have you had a chance to try Polish cuisine yet?
No not yet. I’m excited to try a lot of new foods.
What are your personal goals for the upcoming AFLE season?
Becoming an all star.
Finally: what can Polish fans expect from the "Danish Wall" in the coming season?
110% effort on every single play!
