Cornell Ford joins Panthers coaching staff!

We know the name of the coach who will be responsible for the preparation and play of our players in the depth of the field - the Defensive Backs formation!

Cornell Ford reunites with Head Coach Dave Christensen joining Panthers coaches before the 2023 season. The American coach is another element of the pre-season puzzle in the staff at the Olympic Stadium.

Why did you choose the Panthers?

Coach Christensen called me about a great opportunity he had to be the Head Football Coach of a Professional European team. He asked if I would join him in building a champion in Poland… I said “Sign me up”.

What do you know about the Panthers?

The Panthers are a very talented team with big time potential for winning it all at the highest level.  

How well do you know Coach Christensen and his philosophy?

I had the privilege to work with Coach Christensen for 14 seasons at two different universities - Toledo and Missouri.  He’s one of the best offensive minds in the game. We’re going to be exciting, making defenses defend us from sideline to sideline, while lighting up that scoreboard with points. We’ll be strong and fundamentally sound in all three phases of the game.

What do you want to bring to the Panthers playing style?

I want to be the toughest, nastiest, most disciplined secondary in the league.
