Back on the Winning Track
Panthers Wrocław faced a tough challenge in their European League of Football matchup against the Hungarian team Fehérvár Enthroners. The clash at First Field in Székesfehérvár started well for the visiting team. In the first quarter, Darrell Stewart Jr. and Dawid Brzozowski each scored a touchdown. Jakub Ałdaś successfully kicked both extra points and later, at the beginning of the second quarter, extended the lead to 17 points with a precise 33-yard field goal. Panthers had built a solid lead, but the hosts responded before halftime with a touchdown, cutting the deficit to 10 points.
After the break, Darrell Stewart Jr.—having an outstanding game—helped restore the 17-point lead for the Panthers. But the Enthroners didn’t back down. Re-energized and determined, they scored two more touchdowns, closing the gap to just five points. The final minutes were tense, but Panthers held their composure under pressure, maintaining their narrow lead and securing their third win of the 2025 season.
Special recognition goes to the Panthers’ defensive line, particularly Hubert Ogrodowczyk. He recorded two sacks—tackling the quarterback behind the line of scrimmage—and two additional tackles for loss. His performance played a key role in the team’s success.
