Hit at the Olympic Stadium. Panthers Wrocław in a rematch with Vikings
On August 13th (Sunday), Panthers Wrocław will host the European champions - Vienna Vikings - on their home turf. In the first game, the Polish representatives were just three points short of defeating the Austrians. This time, the Wrocław team aims to tilt the victory in their favor, especially since the result of Sunday's game may determine their qualification for the playoff phase. It is the penultimate home game for Panthers Wrocław in the regular season of the European League of Football.

Defeating the Champions

In the last round, Panthers Wrocław players left no chances for Prague Lions, whom they defeated 73-13 in an away game. With six victories under their belt, the Polish representatives hold the second position in the Eastern Conference table of the European League of Football. The leaders remain Vienna Vikings, who have not suffered a single defeat this season.

We have everything to beat the Vikings; we just need to execute our plan and avoid mistakes. We know that a victory can bring us closer to qualifying for the playoffs, so on Sunday, we will do everything to defeat our rivals – says Dave Christensen, the head coach of Panthers Wrocław.

In the first game against Vienna Vikings, Panthers Wrocław held the lead for a long time but ultimately succumbed to the Austrians 21-24. With only three games left in the regular season for the Wrocław Panthers, their results will directly impact the table standings and qualification for the playoffs, in which the top six teams from the regular round will participate.
