The League Europe blockbuster: Panthers take on Rhein Fire!

This is the matchup European American football fans have been anticipating for months. This coming Sunday, Poland’s representatives, Panthers Wrocław, will travel to face the highly decorated German powerhouse, Rhein Fire. Kickoff is scheduled for 4:55 PM. The live broadcast will be available on the AFLE+ platform and on Polsat Sport 2.

It is time for an absolute blockbuster in the AFLE - The League Europe. The Wrocław squad will take the field at the nearly 32,000-capacity Schauinsland-Reisen Arena in Duisburg to challenge a formidable opponent. Rhein Fire has been the absolute hegemon of recent years, capturing the European League of Football championship titles back-to-back in the 2023 and 2024 seasons. In the current campaign, the German side leads the Northwest Conference with a 4-1 record.

Meanwhile, Panthers Wrocław - boasting a record of five wins and just one loss - are hot on the heels of the Southeast Conference leaders, the Vienna Vikings. Led by Head Coach Dave Likins, the Panthers enter this matchup riding a four-game winning streak.

Sunday's clash will be historic, marking the first-ever meeting between the Panthers and the Düsseldorf-based franchise. Who will emerge victorious from this maiden, head-to-head clash of the titans? We will find out this weekend. One thing is certain: fans are in for a spectacle at the highest European level.

Polish-Italian Rivalry at the Olympic Stadium

International excitement returns to the Olympic Stadium next week. On Sunday, July 19, the Panthers will host the Firenze Red Lions in front of their home crowd. Wrocław fans are sure to pack the stands once again, creating an unforgettable atmosphere and loudly driving the team forward in the hunt for more league points. The game will also feature special guests in the stands - members of the Polish U-19 National American Football Team, who will be in Wrocław preparing for their September European Championship matchup against Hungary.
