Dominant win in Wrocław. Panthers crush London!

Panthers Wrocław claimed victory in their final home game of the season at the Olympic Stadium. Playing in front of their home crowd, the Panthers left the London Warriors with no chance, dominating their opponents 41-0.

Head coach Dave Likins’ squad had a fantastic start to the game. They built a comfortable lead as early as the first quarter and sealed the win in the second. American wide receiver Mike Harley Jr. was in sensational form, putting on a show with three spectacular touchdowns. Kacper Jaszewski, Edu Perez, and Ott Eric Ottender added one touchdown each. The high lead allowed the coaching staff to rest key starters in the second half, giving substitutes a prime opportunity to gain valuable game experience.

„We knew London could put up a tough fight because they had won several games in a row, and we’re aware that from game to game, season to season, this team is only going to get better. They have some good players, so we had to approach this game fully focused, and that’s exactly what we did. We started scoring quickly and kept that momentum going throughout the entire first half. We built up a big enough lead that in the second half we could rest our leaders before the playoffs and give our backups a chance. Our defense delivered a great performance, keeping a clean sheet: they stopped the run, hit hard, and swatted down passes. The coaches prepared us well for this matchup—we knew what we wanted to play and how to execute it. We’re looking better with every game, so our form for the playoffs will be ready.” - commented Rafał Rogaczewski, center for Panthers Wrocław.

„We came into the game extremely well-prepared and dominated both sides of the ball from the very beginning. Everything went according to plan, allowing us to rest key players ahead of the playoffs right after the first half. We admittedly expected more resistance from our opponents, but our consistency and execution of all game plan objectives completely overwhelmed the team from London.” - added Kamil Kotlarz, running back for Panthers Wrocław.

Sunday’s clash at the Olympic Stadium will go down in history as a special day for American football in Lower Silesia - not only because of the result, but also thanks to an incredible atmosphere. Before kickoff, the national anthem was sung alongside a ceremonial guard from the Polish Armed Forces, and during halftime, the Polish U19 national American football team was presented to the crowd. The extraordinary atmosphere was brought home by the fans of Panthers Nation, who put on a magnificent show and carried the team with loud chanting from the first second to the last.

Trip to Berlin and the Playoffs

The matchup against the London Warriors was Panthers Wrocław's final home game of the 2026 season. Next week, on Saturday at 3:00 PM, the Panthers will take on the Thunder in Berlin. A week later, they will play their semifinal matchup in Duisburg against Rhein Fire. A single game will decide who advances to the grand Gold Bowl - the championship game of the European AFLE competition.
